CIRIA announces new Chairman

CIRIA is delighted to welcome David Belsham, Director, BAM Nuttall, as Chairman of the Executive Board.  He succeeds Peter Gammie, former CEO of Halcrow who has served for five years and has retired.

David joined BAM Nuttall in 1972 and has been an Executive Director for the last 10 years, where he has held particular responsibility for their Rail work nationally, and Business Units and projects in the North of the UK. Away from contracting, David has multiple external roles including Chairman of the Institution of Civil Engineers Northern Counties local association and being involved in Research and Development through the Defra/Environment Agency R&D theme advisory group.
