BAM Nuttall has a long successful history of constructing container terminals, roll on roll off terminals, ferry terminals, jetties berths, piers and breakwaters in additional to general cargo handling facilities.

The delivery of successful flood alleviation programmes forms another important contribution to BAM Nuttall’s total service to clients. With proven experience of undertaken flood defence and costal defence schemes for the Environment Agency and local authorities through the UK, BAM Nuttall has expertise in this field which is second to none. The complexity of schemes is diverse, ranging from the construction of a 9.5km flood alleviation channel between Windsor and Eton to small scale river wall refurbishments. BAM Nuttall is currently working on a twenty year PFI scheme in the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads.
