Welcome to the project home page. BAM Nuttall is proud to be constructing this, the first phase of the South East Hampshire Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route on behalf of Hampshire County Council.

BRT phase 1 is part of the County Council’s strategy to help alleviate the pressures affecting access to the Gosport peninsula. The scheme will provide a high quality, innovative, attractive public transport system as a viable alternative to the car.

Within the site you will find details of the installation work being carried out by BAM Nuttall, together with news and traffic information for the project. The computer-generated images used are an artistic impression of how BRT Phase 1 will look when complete and once planting is mature.
