BAM Nuttall wins £13.8 million
project
BAM Nuttall has been awarded a £13.8 million
project by Derby City Council to relieve congestion in central
Derby. The project involves the construction of single and
dual carriageway around the southern side of the city.
The 93 week project that began in January was awarded after
early contractor involvement throughout the last quarter of
2008 which saw the demolition of buildings on the new alignment
and the construction of car parks to replace those that will
be lost as a consequence of the works.
