BAM Nuttall wins £13.8 million project
BAM Nuttall has been awarded a £13.8 million project by Derby City Council to relieve congestion in central Derby. The project involves the construction of single and dual carriageway around the southern side of the city.

The 93 week project that began in January was awarded after early contractor involvement throughout the last quarter of 2008 which saw the demolition of buildings on the new alignment and the construction of car parks to replace those that will be lost as a consequence of the works.

Notes to Editors;
BAM Nuttall is one of the UK’s leading civil engineering contractors, with a current turnover approaching £600 million. The company operates throughout the country and has a strong regional presence with over 20 offices and plant depots. BAM Nuttall is an operating company of the Dutch based construction company Royal BAM Group, which reported for 2007 a consolidated net result of € 349 million and a turnover of € 8.95 billion.
