BAM Nuttall scoops Network Rail Supplier of the Year Award

Our rail team were awarded the top prize of Supplier of the Year at the second Network Rail Partnership Awards. This event, which was attended by our competitors and senior representatives from Network Rail was set up to reward excellence exhibited by the Network Rail supply chain. The Supplier of the Year Award is the supreme award and in the opinion of the judges we had ‘demonstrated quality and best practice in our work with Network Rail and had contributed the most to the success of the whole rail service during 2009’.

We also picked up the award for Team Contribution for our work on Derby Station. This award recognise those who have shown how teamwork has made a clear difference to the railway. The judges commented that we had 'demonstrated initiative in relation to teamwork by devising strategies to create efficiencies, commitment to the end goal and an understanding of its customers and passengers.
