KBJV picked up Gold at the Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards ceremony which took place on Friday 22nd April at The Mermaid in London.
The scheme has been running since 1999 rewarding the UK's most considerate sites for the contribution they have made towards improving the image of construction. The scheme looks at the measures a site has put in place to be more considerate towards local neighbourhoods and the public, the workforce, and the environment.
This year, Tier 1 contractors will be joining together with NNB to place one joint submission for the whole HPC site. NNB and other contractors on site are due to attend their ceremony on 27th April where they will receive their award for 2015.
There are two Considerate Constructors audits per year in order to determine a site's overall score. Our first audit for 2016 will take place on site in early July. Congratulations to the team for their efforts throughout the 2015 audits, the challenge is now on to maintain our gold standard!
