The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI), is the leading professional body for the advancement of quality practices in the UK, it was originally founded in 1919 as the Institute of Engineering Inspection.
It is a not-for-profit organisation and a respected contributor to policy issues at a national and international level.
The CQI also owns the International Register of Certificated Auditors the world's first and largest international certification body for auditors of management systems. IRCA certifies some 15,000 auditors in over 150 countries worldwide.
The CQI seeks to:
- promote the efficiency and competitiveness of industry and commerce
- promote the education and training of those involved in quality
- promote research into quality issues
- maintain the quality and standards of auditors and auditor training courses
The CQI invites large organisations that are passionate about business excellence and dedicated to quality to apply to become CQI Corporate Partners.
As Corporate Partners we’ll be supporting and promoting the Quality profession. We’ll also be demonstrating to our customers that we’re committed to recognised standards of Quality with the only chartered body for Quality.
The CQI is the principal supporting organisation behind World Quality Day in the UK and this year they have been referencing one of our videos as part of their promotion for the event. The short film is from David Anderson and was made by BAM Nuttall specifically for World Quality Week this year, click here to view.
