The Wallasea Island Wild Coast project has won industry recognition this month, winning the Green Apple Award and Constructing Excellence award, in addition to being shortlisted for the ICE People’s Choice Awards.
At the Constructing Excellence National Awards in London on the 4th November 2016, Wallasea built upon their regional win earlier this year and won ‘The Legacy Sustainability Award’ for their work on the project. The environmental accomplishment of the project was also recognised at the Green Apple Awards, where Wallasea Island won a Gold Award for ‘Building & Construction: Biodiversity/Habitat’ at an event held at the House of Commons on Friday 11th November. Receiving the award for BAM Nuttall are (L-R): Clare Wells, Dave Bugden, Cameron Woodhead and Dick Watts.
ICE People’s Choice Award – Vote Now for the Wallasea Island Wild Coast Project
Wallasea Island has also been shortlisted for the ICE’s People’s Choice Award this year! The ICE hold a public vote each year for the public to decide their favourite infrastructure project in the UK. Voting is open from the 7th to the 30th of November 2016.
