BAM Nuttall Vendor Forum - Welcome

Welcome to the BAM Nuttall Vendor Forum. This is an area on our website that has been specifically designed for suppliers / sub contractors and all our current vendors to share ideas and best practice. We at BAM Nuttall fully appreciate the part that our supply chain partners play in our ongoing success.

Communication and interaction with our supply chain partners completely supports the aims and aspirations of our Beyond Zero vision as detailed below and throughout the other pages of this Vendor Forum.

What is Beyond Zero? It is an ambition, something to aim for, an aspiration it is a vision of our future. It is a future where harm to our people or environment does not happen and
we are all assured of a safe, healthy and environmentally respectful workplace.

But Beyond Zero is more than not having accidents or harming our environment. It is better than that. It is about genuinely caring for yourself, your colleagues and the environment. Beyond Zero asks us to set standards that are exceptional, not just acceptable. It is about us feeling totally safe, where our opinions are valued whether we are expressing concerns or recommending improvement. It moves with us from workplace to the home. It is about going the extra mile. Beyond Zero is about people, and the planet and how we can promise each of them a long and prosperous future.

Beyond Zero workshopsAll BAM Nuttall employees and suppliers are set to attend a Beyond Zero workshop as the company embarks on a major push to explain the vision and ask for everyone’s commitment.

In all, around 500 workshops will have been held by the end of the year with close to 100% of staff having attended one of the sessions, which are expected to last around four hours.

All of our 3,200 employees will be asked to attend one of the courses, which, with the numbers predicted for our subcontractors and suppliers, will see around 6,000 people put through a workshop..

Each workshop will involve around a dozen people and will be led by a trainer, usually someone from site. Around 100 trainers will be trained from within the company via a three day course, to begin leading the workshops.
