Developing our people

BAM Nuttall is committed to the training and development of its staff. We want our people to realise for themselves the benefit of staying with the company through the course of their career.

We likewise want them to be well equipped to operate on our behalf with the high degree of professionalism that our customers expect of us.

To that end, we are committed to ongoing support of:

  • Professional memberships
  • Apprenticeships for young people to be able to have a long term career with us in the field of civil engineering
  • Management training, to equip our managers with the skills that will enable them to develop their people effectively, and support their own progression
  • Skill development through technical training
  • NVQs, as a vehicle for solid, job-related experience to be recognised
