 BAM Nuttall aims to be a good neighbour within the communities where it works.
To this end, it has recently become an associate member of the Considerate Constructors Scheme (June 2008), and aims to build its scores against the scheme over time.
'As supporters of the scheme for some years, we feel it has a significant role to play in helping the industry to appreciate its responsibility towards the environment, its workforce and the communities in which it operates. For a successful civil engineering industry, it is important that we leave a positive impression on those we affect.
'Associate Membership allows us to contribute to the growth and development of the scheme, leading to an improved image and reputation for the industry. It also helps to make BAM Nuttall everyone's preferred civil engineering company with contemporary views and a sustainable future'.
