 BAM Nuttall aims to trade honestly and ethically. It seeks to achieve long-lasting partnerships with key members of its supply chain where mutually held high standards lead to mutual benefit. To that end, we actively seek to work with companies that share our values.
We have recognised these partnerships with our Vendor Accord agreement, which we hold with approximately one hundred strategically important suppliers and sub-contractors.
We would not accept a supplier as a Vendor Accord partner that did not share our values, and our commitment in areas such as the environment, health and safety, equal opportunities and diversity.
We recognise that many of our supply chain partners are deeply committed to sustainability principles, and are eager and willing partners with us in achieving the best outcomes. We recognise the value of working with suppliers at an early stage in project planning and development to achieve the best outcomes.
This is an area where we hope to continue to improve in future.
Questions around health, safety and the environment are considered carefully when appointing contractors. Such factors have carried weight in decisions made in the past, and we expect them to do so even more in the future. More: A partnership approach to our supply chain | Our Performance
